This is a multi-species bird nesting box with built in video camera which plugs directly into your television and provides superb quality, sharp, colour video and audio of all the activity inside the nesting box. Put simply, “springwatch” from your own garden. And when the breeding season is over the nest box can be converted into a feeding station and you can continue to watch the birds with the FeederCam throughout the year.
• Wide angle lens provides an image of the nest box entrance hole as well as the nesting area at the base of the NestCam, as the chicks grow most of the feeding is done through the entrance hole.
• Image enhancing sensor allows colour images without disturbing the birds.
• The nest box is constructed from FSC certified oak. Using 15mm thick solid timber provides a quality box that gives additional protection to the birds that nest in it.
• All our NestCams come with interchangeable front panels which allow the user to attract different species of birds. The panel with the 25mm hole should be used to attract Blue-Tits, Wrens and other small birds. The 32mm should be used to attract larger birds like Great Tits, and House Sparrows. With the front panel removed completely you can attract Robins and Wagtails.
• The Nesting box has been designed in accordance with recommendations from the RSPB. Visit the RSPB website for information and guidelines on where to locate you NestCam to attract different birds.
• All NestCams are supplied pre fitted with a 30metre all in one cable. Just one cable will provide video, audio and power to your NestCam.
• The NestCam also comes with full fitting instructions, a free phone customer service & technical help line and are delivered fully assembled ready to use. All you have to do is site the NestCam and switch it on.
